The month of love is upon us; it’s February and cupid is shooting arrows for us all to be in love.

I personally don’t know what I’m doing for Valentine ’s Day, but my inbox is full of odd offers for dates on this special day. If only my Prince Charming would show up before the big day arrives. But I know many will be preparing for the day of love and want it to be special.

So, for those who will be celebrating Valentine ’s Day, below are five events happening. I’ve tried to customise the list to everyone’s different interests, so that you and your date can enjoy and take cute snaps, too.

    1) Intramuros Tour

Rediscover the walled city and take a tour around the historic Manila area. The Department of Tourism has an event being held next to Manila Cathedral. You can find unique and special chocolates for your valentine’s or handmade jewellery for sale in the many booths located around the event. There are lots of handcraft stalls and food to try, which is well worth checking out after taking a lot of cute couple photos around the historic Spanish site.

     2) Valentine's Bazaar

Shopping Bazaar is held in Robinsons Galleria February 13-17. If you are more into shopping, then take a shopping spree and check out all the hearts, flowers and cuddly toys in the this special bazaar specifically for hearts day.

    3) Eat in Tagaytay

Perhaps a chilled ambiance is more your style so why not check out Tagaytay. Seriously there are so many places to eat yummy bulalo and the cold weather is a perfect reason to be close and snuggle.

    4) Hot Air Ballooning

It’s apparently the last year for the hot air balloon in Pampanga, so why not go there and see this incredible event. Even if your partner or yourself may be scared of heights, getting to experience this event is still unusual and unique. The timing is perfect and I’ve been told Pampanga has good food, too.

    5) SANDBOX Fun in Pampanga

Lastly, you could be more of a couple keen on activities, so why not give it a go at sand box Pampanga, this place is set to redefine outdoor activities. Fun and adventure, but not too extreme can make it a great idea for valentine’s day. There currently are promos to attend for the sweet month of love.
