Fashion has always been a big part of my life. Growing up, I’ve watched my mom, Apples Aberin, attend countless fashion shoots, meet renowned Filipino designers, and stay on top of the ever-changing trends. Even now, it amazes me how much I continuously learn from my mom, her group of talented friends and her creative environment.

But I was finally able to step out on my own and put all that stock knowledge into practice. Two years ago, I packed my bags and moved to Paris to study Fashion and Luxury Brand Management in Istituto Marangoni. Today, I am working as a buyer for LCP, a retailer led by fashion maven Pie Alvarez.

These experiences and more have opened new eyes to the world of fashion. I learned so many things—how to assemble shoots, merchandising brands and even finding the confidence to speak with big shots in the industry to name a few. I know I still have so much to learn, but I have certainly gone a long way from having my mom put on my make-up!

It goes without saying that I’m more than thrilled to be starting my blog with Cluster. I’m so excited to pass on what I’ve learned, lend my fresh take on trends and more importantly, share my undying passion.

So why not join me in my journey to discovering this remarkable world of fashion?
