• Patti Grandidge

Although she now refers to the Philippines as home, Patti still thinks of herself as a ‘third culture kid.’ Born in her mom’s hometown of Manila, Patti grew up all over Asia - Hong Kong, Bangkok, Tokyo and Singapore. Her family of four also lived in England shortly, where her father’s relatives reside. From childhood to adolescence, fast-forward to her college years spent in America. Patti attended Pepperdine University in Malibu, majoring in International Business.

After graduation, her Los Angeles work experience took place in an office at a PR agency and in the kitchen at a bakery - not an unlikely coupling for Patti. She documented her Californian escapades by starting a food blog, Patti’s Palette. The islands increasingly beckoned and Patti made her first permanent move to Manila and continued to chase her love of food and fashion. She started her own cupcakery, Sweet Patti Cakes, and got involved with lots of fun work in front of the camera. The balancing act developed quickly working as an entrepreneur/TV personality/live presenter/model. She has hosted a successful lifestyle magazine show and represented the country’s flagship airline carrier. Currently, Patti is endorsing a homegrown fashion retail line, acting as an ambassador for an international beauty brand and showcasing regionally is her digital campaign for consumer health care products under a global pharmaceutical corporation.

In her downtime from work, Patti enjoys traveling, eating and exercising. Patti is a cluster of sorts; elegant and epicurean, daring and domestic. Globe-trotting with her husband, mouth-watering confections, food diaries, quality family time, Pilates achievements, get-togethers with friends, and a doggy named Truffles are just some of the snapshots she shares on her social media accounts.
